Our listener likes pop bands and heart throbs. They also enjoy keeping up to date with all the celebrity gossip for example in OK magazine. Things like competition will keep the listener interested on our radio station. 



Older audiences

Listener one- GOLD
Age-70
Female
Main interests- Baking, knitting, soaps, Gary barlow, bingo and boules. 

This is our older targeted radio station. On this we would talk about the weather and we would play old classics that they remember from their childhood. We would also talk about the latest soap story's and whats going on in them, so they can keep up to date. Competitions to get holidays away. Also baking tips and hobbies.                        

This is a screen grab from radio 1 and this appeals to teenagers above. It does this by showing what has perviously has been played and shows what the current chart music is. It plays up to date music that teenagers will recognise and maybe new songs they may not have heard of.
